A perfectly nice place to stay if you don't need anything special. The bedding was nice and new and the staff was pleasant. But the rooms do need some attention. The shower, grouting, painting and everything need a professional touch. Rooms just need a redo. ...read more

Another Days Inn, another horrible experience. The room was filthy. Door frames looked like they had been painted by a child. They feature wireless internet, yet there are no electrical outlets near the work desk. My wife woke me at 4:30 AM and said, "Get me out of here, now"! ...read more

The hotel, while somewhat rough-looking from the outside had a spacious room - 2 queen beds, TV/clothes hutch, and a desk with chair area. I really liked the vanity area - lots of room. The bathroom had the toilet and tub in a small space, but it worked okay because of the vanity area. ...read more

This is the second Days Inn that I have ever stayed at. It worked for the two nights I was in Elk City. I chose this hotel as it was one of the higher priced hotels in Elk City which, I thought, would translate into a nicer, better quality hotel. I was wrong. This is an older property for which they are, seemingly, trying to update. We were given a room that had recently been painted, I would suggest, by a small child. Paint droppings were found on the tile floor, fixtures, and other areas if the room. The doors look like they were painted with a wash cloth as there were streaks visibly evident on these surfaces. It was evident that whoever painted was trying to use one coat of paint in the room as you could see, in many places, the previous color coming through. This was, definitely, not a professionally-done paint job and one where quality and aesthetics was obviously not the goal. The door coming into the room needed new seals as you could see the light of day shining through on three sides. The door to the bathroom would not close. It was out of alignment. It took, at least five minutes to get the hot water to come through the sink. The carpet, where it met the vanity tile was turn and frayed. There were no electrical outlets easily available to plug a laptop into, and especially where they had the location of the in-room desk. Any outlets, except by the sink, were located behind bulky furniture that I couldn't move. The swimming pool, as we arrived, looked like a municipal lagoon although, during out departure two days later, they were draining and getting it ready for cleaning. The staff were nice. I have used Priceline hundreds of times over the years with exceptional success in airline, hotel, and rental car reservations. This wasn't the best experience. I have stayed in many Priceline-booked hotels that were clean, fresh, ...read more
